3 Amazing Films About Love

Never Let Me Go

Based on Kazuo Ishiguro’s famous book, Never Let Me Go stars Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan, three of the most promising young actors of this decade. Thus it wasn’t surprising that the acting in Never Let Me Go was superb. The triangle relationship between the three main characters delivered a lot of drama, but the dark secret hidden behind the walls of the school they grew up in made it even more tragic. Carey Mulligan’s character feels so real that it is hard to detach from her feelings after the film’s ending. Keep the tissues close, you’ll need them.

Ian McEwan’s epic bestseller Atonement was so perfect that turning it into a movie seemed like a really risky plan. A plan which worked out. As a couple, separated by lies and war, Keira Knightley and James McAvoy steal the viewer’s hearts. Additionally, the cinematography is brilliant and the soundtrack may send shivers down your spine. We’ll certainly never forget the epic scene at Dunkirk beach.

(500) Days of Summer

This film is not a love film. But it’s about love. About how it makes you feel so good when you are in a new relationship. And about how terrible it feels if the relationship doesn’t last. If one party loves more than the other. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel delivered an amazing performance. The movie’s approach to love feels quite realistic and is equally sad, humorous and entertaining. A must see for men and women alike.
